Jeffrey Hirsch and Peter Moser Lead Education Session for MAAPS

Jeff Hirsch and Peter Moser recently conducted an education session for MAAPS, a statewide association of private special education schools.

The session was focused on practical and legal implementation issues concerning the increase to the FLSA’s salary-level threshold for exempt employees, which is scheduled to go into effect on December 1st and which will have a significant impact on non-profit organizations. HRW attorneys have been working with MAAPS for 26 years with the common goal of providing the highest quality education to students with special needs.
