Sophie Levine represents employers in a variety of workplace disputes. She has experience on both sides of employment litigation, giving her a well-rounded perspective when advising clients. Before joining Hirsch Roberts Weinstein, she practiced insurance defense at a large Atlanta law firm, managing a high-volume caseload and handling cases at various stages of litigation from inception to trial.
Recognizing that each case profoundly impacts the lives of those involved, Sophie approaches every client with genuine empathy and a commitment to understanding their unique circumstances. This compassionate perspective, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills, fosters strong attorney-client relationships built on trust and open communication.
Before joining Hirsch Roberts Weinstein, Sophie practiced at Swift Currie in Atlanta, where she focused on insurance defense litigation. She represented insurers and their insureds in a variety of civil litigation matters, including premises liability, auto tort, product liability, and general liability claims. She gained extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation. During law school, Sophie interned at a boutique plaintiff-side employment law firm in Boston, where she conducted case evaluations and drafted motions on behalf of employees in workplace disputes. She also worked in parent defense, advocating for parents in child welfare proceedings, and participated in her law school’s Civil Law Clinic, assisting clients with landlord-tenant disputes and eviction defense. Additionally, she completed a judicial externship with Magistrate Judge Ramon E. Reyes Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where she conducted legal research and drafted judicial opinions. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys playing soccer, crocheting, watching Survivor, and spending time with her dog outside.
