Scott Roberts Testifies on Campus Sexual Assault

HRW’s Scott Roberts testified at a hearing by the Massachusetts Legislature’s Higher Education Committee on a proposed bill addressing campus sexual violence and was quoted in the State House News Service’s coverage of the testimony.

Drawing upon his experience representing colleges and universities and conducting independent sexual assault investigations, Scott provided his thoughts about the potential consequences of the proposed bill.  While applauding the intention behind the bill, Scott encouraged the committee to ensure fairness for all parties in the investigative and hearing processes at college campuses.
