Jeff Hirsch Selected for Inaugural MLW Hall of Fame

Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP is thrilled to announce that founding partner Jeffrey L. Hirsch has been selected for Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly inaugural Hall of Fame class.

Hall of Fame members were selected based upon the quality of their legal work, contributions to the development of the law, and commitment to improving the quality of justice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Jeff is considered one of the preeminent management labor and employment attorneys not only in Massachusetts, but he has also been recognized nationally and globally by Chambers and Partners. He was inducted as a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2005. Jeff is a trusted advisor relied upon by CEOs and other senior leaders across industries, including prominent nonprofits and institutions. Jeff is particularly proud of his work as labor counsel and chief spokesperson for the ACLU of Massachusetts and affiliates in other states.

Jeff is the author of the widely used books “Occupational Safety and Health Handbook”, “Labor and Employment in Massachusetts” and similar books analyzing the laws of Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. He has held an appointment as an Institute Fellow at the Human Resources Policy Institute at the Boston University Questrom School of Business since 1983 and has served as a Member of the Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination for nearly 30 years.

A committed civic and community leader, Jeff is recognized for his personal and professional advocacy of fair and just treatment, diversity, equity, and inclusion. He serves on charitable and civic boards including the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.

Jeff was honored on September 12, 2023 at a luncheon reception in Boston.
