2025 Updates to Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave: Poster and Rate Sheets Released

Employers with employees in Massachusetts should be aware that the Massachusetts Department of Family and Medical Leave (DFML) has published the 2025 Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) poster and rate sheets (linked below).

These publications follow and align with the recent DFML announcement regarding key adjustments for 2025, including increases to the maximum weekly benefit amount ($1,170.64) and the state average weekly wage ($1,829.13). Action Items for Employers:

1. Download and Display the Poster: Download the 2025 PFML poster from the DFML website and post it in a prominent location. Ensure that remote and off-site employees can access the poster digitally.

2. Employee Notifications: Communicate changes to your employees.
