SHERYL D. EISENBERG
Sheryl Eisenberg specializes in all aspects of management-side labor and employment law. She regularly counsels employers across a broad range of industries, including health care, human services, higher education, high technology, and financial services. Sheryl has significant experience representing her clients at all stages of litigation in state and federal court, and has handled numerous proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
Sheryl’s clients turn to her for day-to-day advice on a wide range of employment-related matters, including discipline and discharge, leaves of absence, wage and hour law, employee relations, labor relations, plant closings, and reductions in force. Sheryl's practice also focuses on preventive employment practices, including human resource policy development, statutory and regulatory compliance, and advice on the avoidance of discrimination claims. Sheryl’s clients look to her for assistance in drafting or reviewing employee handbooks, employment applications, and other employment related documents, and for guidance in tailoring specific responses to the many unique situations that arise in the workplace.
Sheryl also works with clients in the many aspects of traditional labor law, including day-to-day labor relations, contract interpretation, and processing of grievances. She represents clients at arbitration, defends against unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board, and represents employers at all stages of union organizational efforts.
