SANDRA SUE MCQUAY - Of Counsel
Sue McQuay has over thirty-five years of experience advising and representing clients in the avoidance, as well as the litigation and resolution, of disputes. She has advised individuals, companies and institutions in a broad range of areas, including employment issues, claims of wrongful termination, discrimination and sexual harassment, and business and commercial disputes. Her clients have included financial services companies, hospitals, universities, and executives in established and start-up companies. She is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried cases in numerous federal and state courts, and also has extensive experience in the mediation and arbitration of disputes.
Sue earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Illinois in 1969, and received her law degree from Boston University (J.D., cum laude, 1972) where she was an Editor of the Boston University Law Review. Prior to becoming Of Counsel to Hirsch Roberts & Weinstein, Sue was a founding member of the law firm of Sullivan Weinstein & McQuay, and was also a partner in the Boston law firms of Herrick & Smith and Goodwin Procter.
